Guppy Blueprints
After World War II The US Navy realized that they needed to make improvement changes to United States submarines after reverse engineering German XXI U-boats. They desired to improve battery capacity, streamline the structure, fire control improvement, and add snorkels. . So they initiated the Great Underwater Propulsion Power Progam (GUPPY). This lead to many future improvements. The Threadfin, SS-410 received the Guppy 1A conversion. These are bluprints of that conversion that I purchased back in 1999 when looking for blueprints for the USS Springer. Read more about the Guppy conversions HERE.
